I would definitely choose the ukulele when it comes to ease of use. Plus you can travel with it, some bags even have a ukulele holder in them. It’s not like carrying a guitar where you just constantly bump into things lol. The chord patterns for the ukulele is also very easy to learn. For example, the C chord for guitar is x32010 while for uke it is only 0003.
